OP Choudhary Reduces Convoy Vehicles, Cuts Down Use of Protocol Cars

Chhattisgarh Finance Minister has decided to reduce the number of vehicles used in his convoy and official protocol arrangements. The minister said the decision was taken in view of rising fuel prices and the need to promote responsible fuel usage.

OP Choudhary stated that pilot and follow vehicles will now be used only in essential situations. He added that public representatives should also set an example of simplicity and resource conservation.

Referring to Prime Minister ’s appeal regarding fuel conservation, the minister urged citizens to use petrol and diesel responsibly and avoid unnecessary travel.

The move is being seen as an important step towards reducing government expenditure and encouraging administrative simplicity. The decision is also receiving positive reactions on social media.
