Rahul Tikaria Reaches Gorna-Mankeli at 1 AM, Says “This is the New Face of Bastar”
Bijapur: BJP Yuva Morcha State President Rahul Yograj Tikaria made a surprise late-night visit to Gorna and Mankeli, villages once known as the “university of Naxalites,” accompanied by local youth on motorcycles. The visit took place around 1 AM, during which he closely observed the current situation on the ground and interacted with residents to understand the changing environment.

Tikaria said there was a time when people hesitated even to mention the names of Gorna and Mankeli. The region was considered a stronghold of Naxalite activity, and visiting these villages often meant putting one’s life at risk. According to him, there was no guarantee of a safe return for anyone entering the area in those days.

“The fact that I can travel to Gorna-Mankeli at 1 AM with local youth is proof of the success of the anti-Naxal campaign led by the BJP government at the Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma,” Tikaria said.

He further added that areas once dominated by fear, violence, and the sound of gunfire are now witnessing discussions on development, education, and democracy. He also appreciated the contribution of security forces and local residents in bringing peace and stability to the region.
