Khushi Jhadhi, daughter of farmer Praveen Jhadhi, secured 465 marks in NEET, bringing pride to her family and the Gangaloor region. Coming from a modest farming background, Khushi achieved the feat through consistent hard work, dedication and the support of her family.Khushi was honored alongside the police station staff.

Khushi’s achievement is particularly significant as she hails from an area that has faced the challenges of Left-Wing Extremism for years. Her success offers a positive narrative of education and aspiration emerging from a remote part of Bastar.

Following her achievement, the Bijapur Police visited Khushi’s residence to congratulate and honour her. Under the guidance of Bijapur Superintendent of Police Umesh Prasad Gupta, Gangaloor Police Station in-charge Inspector Girish Tiwari, along with police personnel, met Khushi and presented her with a bouquet.

The police team also congratulated Khushi’s parents and appreciated their efforts in ensuring that their children continued their education despite limited resources.

Khushi credited her success to hard work, perseverance and the support of her family. Her father, Praveen Jhadhi, said that the family had always prioritised the education of their children and never allowed financial difficulties to become a barrier to their studies.

Khushi has also drawn inspiration from her elder sister, who is working as a Community Health Officer in Bijapur district.

The young achiever expressed her gratitude to the police for visiting her home and encouraging her. She also said she hopes that more children from Gangaloor and other remote areas of Bastar will pursue education and achieve success in national-level examinations.

Khushi Jhadhi’s achievement is more than just a NEET success story. It reflects the growing aspirations of young people in Bastar and highlights how education can create new opportunities and inspire a generation beyond the shadows of conflict.

From a farmer’s home in Gangaloor to success in NEET, Khushi’s journey has emerged as a symbol of determination, education and hope for Bastar.
